Today I had visited some F&B store and non-F&B store to observe their interior and what materials they had used in their space.

The non F&B store that I had visited is KAISON in Sunway Pyramid. The reason that I choose this to visit because this is one of the stores that I like to go in because there look very clean and bright. It makes me feel comfortable and warm when I go in.

So, when I walk around the KAISON I found out that all the shelves that they used to display their products are made in metal, which already sprayed in 2 colours which are black and white.

There is another kind of display "rack" that screwed on the side of the column. I think the column is covered by a board, but I not sure is what kind of board, because when I knock it, I feel like inside is hollow.

While for their ceiling fixtures, they are using 3 types of recessed lighting fixtures, which are Eyeballs, Baffles and reflectors, these are simple and easy to install to the ceiling. Eyeballs lighting is used to highlight certain parts like products and their shop name.

The next one is vinyl flooring. In my opinion, I think they using this kind of flooring is because vinyl flooring can reduce the noise and it is comfortable to walk.

In the whole store, I only found 2 textures pattern on the columns and the wall at the counter. For others, the wall is in white colours.

In KAISON, most of the colours that I can see are white, black and brown.

While for F&B, I visited a bubble tea shop at SS15, COUNTED TEA. The first impression for me is it looks very "high-class". They are using deep blue and gold colours for their shop which can create a noble feeling.

These are some of the decoration on the wall and in front of the toilet as a divider. The divider is made from metal also.

The ceiling of this bubble tea shop is exposed ceiling design. I think this kind of ceiling design is easy for them to do any maintenance or repair the lighting or aircon because there is a lot of lighting inside. The lightings they used are track lighting and pendants.

The flooring that they used is porcelain flooring because it is a beautiful tile and it can show out the luxury feeling for space. It totally suits this bubble tea environment.

After visited these 2 shops, I found out that there are some similarities between these them.

For the first one is about the lighting fixtures, both of them using the lighting which are eyeball lighting and track lighting that can highlight some of the parts in their shops. KAISON is highlighted their products and shop name, but COUNTEA is highlighted in the photo area.

The next one is both shops don't have so much design on the wall.

This is because Kaison is selling home furnishing, decor, gift and others, these products were in different colour and they need a lot of huge shelves to display their products, so they do not any design on the wall, if not it will look very messy. But they have timber texture design on the wall at the counter area.

While for the bubble tea shop, it only has a quote on the wall that in front of the counter, other walls don't have any painting or design.
